Project 2 – Installing chrome housing and button (caps) kit

1. Purpose: The button caps and housing of handlebar control colour was black; I want to change it to chrome-plated one

2. How to do it:

• Preparation
  T27 screwdriver, a slotted screwdriver to be used as a lever, a Phillips screwdriver

• How to do it
  • Disassembling housing of handlebar control: unscrewing 2 bolts which connected to pieces of the housing, one on top and one at the bottom by T27 screwdriver.
  • Disassembling controlling module: using Phillips screwdriver to Disassembling controlling module from the bottom piece of the housing.
  • Assembling the chrome-plated bottom piece of housing: using Phillips screwdriver to screw the controlling module to the bottom housing piece.
  • Disassembling black caps: using the slotted screwdriver as a lever to pull each cap out of the button.
  • Assembling housing of handlebar control: using the T27 to screw 2 pieces of chrome-plated housing kit on the handlebar.
  • Assembling chrome-plated caps: applying force to assemble each chrome-plated cap on the button.
