Project 1 – Fixing fan remote control

1. Situation: The remote control has stopped working.

2. Action:

• Step 1: Open the cover

• Step 2: Check if the components (such as capacitors, transistors) have been loosen from the board by pressing on each component and check if the remote works again. A capacitor has been found out to be loosen from the board.

• Step 3: Hold that capacitor in place and apply a certain amount of glue.

3. Result: The remote works normally again.
