Purpose: My bike is running laced wheel which goes with tube tire, whose disadvantage is leaking a lot of air (through some gaps around the spokes) on a short time when running on nail or sharp-shaped things. Therefore, I want to cover those gaps so that when running on nails, air leaks more slowly.
Disassemble the wheels from the chassis by unscrewing the core screw by 28mm and 32mm and disassemble brakes wire. Pull the wheels out.
Disassembling tyre from wheel:
Open the valve to pass all air out, apply force on tyres to make sure as much air coming out as possible.
Using tire lever to Disassembling tire, take 1 lever to pry the tyre, and another distance 20cm from the first lever. Then pull the first lever out to pry the tire 20cm apart from the second lever. Keep doing this until the whole the rim pops out.
Pull the tube out, the pull the whole tyre out.
Sealing gaps
Clean the surface first.
Using threaded sealant to cover all the heads of all spokes to prevent air from leaking through. After apply sealant on all spokes head, wait for it to dry and roll the sealant tape around the wheel.
Assembling tire to the wheel
Push the tyre on the wheel, so that one side of the tire gets in
Put the tube in and screw its valve to the wheel.
Use the lever to pry the rim on the other side of the tyre into the wheel.
Assembling wheel to the chassis
Reverse the stage “Disassembling wheel from the chassis”
