1. Situation: Rechargeable massage device, with irreplaceable battery pack (2 cells), has been used for 5 years. The battery has become out of order.
2. Solution: Replacing the battery with the same figure of voltage (2.6V total, 1.3V per cell)
3. Action:
- Step 1: Opening the massage device



- Step 2: De-soldering the wires connected the battery pack and the board.
- Risk: A soldering iron may melt plastic surface of the board, which may cover the copper port thereafter and block the electric. (may cause electric interruption)
- Step 3: Combining two battery cells in series with copper wires by soldering.
- Risk: Slow soldering would , increase the temperature of the batteries.


- Step 4: Connecting the serial battery pack to the board by soldering.
- Risk: The same as that of step 1.

4. Result: The massage device works properly with a charging circle as brand new
